question for dfi boards

i want to get a dfi lanparty UT lanparty ultra-D boards and i want to know can this board support SATA to the point that i can just plug the SATA hdd in and then i could install windows xp on that drive or do i need to visit bootdisk.com and get s bootdisk and then format the SATA drive b4 i do anything or need to install some drivers?

the hdd is seagate 160GB 8mb cache 7200 rpm SATA 150 one..

I'm pretty sure I remember reading you can just plug it in and go. Heh I've never had to use a bootdisk for any of my sata drives.
