Thats does seam a bit high btu I never worked with the DFI myself, many have thought, im sur you'll get an answer.
I dont think it is a problem, anythign under 60 will be 100% stable IMO, whats the room temp?

Finnally looking at some screan shot and picture f people OCing with this card, the chipset seamns to be hovering between 40-50. I dont know how much stress OCing puts on the chipset since the memory controller aint there anymore!

I am currently using a DFI nf4 ultra board, my chipset is running at 40C with stock voltage. The PCIE card right above the NB fan is blocking the air flow thats causing the problem.

To solve it, I took my chipset fan out, reapplied some Arctic Silver 5 and mounted a case fan to blow air right towards it.

I was thinking of the same thing. I already got a 120mm fan blowing in that area. Could have put a better hsf it it wasnt for my graph card.

Although the Lanparty is a great board the designers should be shot for placing the chipset fan under the video card. Mine runs hot on stock voltage. Average is about 50c in the summer when my 3200+ runs in the low 30s on stock cooling. Go figure. Even in the low 50s, it is totally stable. I agree, anything under 55-60C and you'll be be fine.

48 is nothing, mines like 55-56 all day. Runs stable no problem.

Mine's been running 40-50c for a while now...adding a second 6800gt bumped up the temps in the case a bit, and about 3-7c on the chipset when i'm play'n games. Supposedly moving your multiplier down from 5x to 4 or 3 can bring the temp down, but i haven't fooled with it. Mine is at 4x (on an asus deluxe board...and has been since i oc'd it...), but is oc'd, so it's running about the same as 5x at stock.
