transfering RAID?

I have a 2x raptors in a RAID setup now on my Asus k8vse DLX on the promise controller and my other raptor on the via sata just running by itself. I just got a new cheap mobo(DFI250GB) and some ocz rev2 to clock this poor neglected 3200+. Now can i just plug em in and have em work in raid mode or do i have to backup all the [-peep-] and reload the RAID. Also does anyone know if all 4 ports on my new mobo will have locks or is it just the 2 and if so could i run a RAID 5 with the 250GB chipset with my 3 raptors.

Does "the whole [-peep-] process" mean i lose all my data and install or do i just have to go through some long process?

Yup, it's like the old days, when you had to reformat your hdd every time you changed mobos.
