I've finisged Doom3. I have always liked doom and quake. Now that ive
finished the game I really dont want to wait another 4 years or so till the
next game to come out.

What do you suggest I buy to get my fix? I like the looks of tour of duty.

Hi Dennis,
You might want to try Hexen II, Heretic II, Unreal, Kingpin, and Soldier
of Fortune I & II.

The Doom3 expansion pack is coming out sometime soon, and will probably
set you back $30-40 (dont quote me on this).

However, I don't know how fantastic it's going to be. From the screens
I've seen and what I've heard it looks like the same setup with new
models and maps and a new story. That seems to be it. But who knows?
I'll probably buy it anyway.

There are several mods in the works for Doom3, and their progress is
usually posted on http://www.planetdoom.com and http://www.d3files.com
as well as the links to the various mod websites. Cost: $0

If you mean Call of Duty, yes, it's good.

Also try:
Half-Life 2
Max Payne 2

And coming soon, Stalker and Snowblind look promising.

Meaning it's good. There's more than enough people having insomnia, and
Max Payne 2 would be the cure. :)

Quake4 from Raven.

Others by them (Hexen2, Heretic2) would also appeal as they have used the
Doom/Quake engines over the years.
Ravens games tend to be more puzzle orientated than ID's. I like both but
for slightly different reasons.
