I bought a dviator http://www.dviator.com/us/index.html unit a few years ago and it has worked flawlessly for my pc. I have a 22" adc monitor and now I want to use this monitor for my xbox 360 and was looking for a little help because i cant get it working. I bought this adapter, Link to vga to dvi female to female adapter http://www.svideo.com/appletvhack.html And connected everything and I get no video on screen but I get sound. I moved my xbox 360 to my other pc monitor with the vga cable and tried a few different video resolutions and they work on my other pc monitor but when i reconnect to my apple adc monitor with the dviator nothings shows on screen....Any help would be much appreciated.

your ADC monitor should have an ADC connection on it. Which I believe only supports going to DVI which is only something that apple sells and requires it to be plugged in. if your converter you plugged in has USB, try disconnecting the USB. If you don't have the USB connected and it has it, you'll need it. Apple screwed many people over (including myself) when they switched from the ADC (apple display connector) to DVI

Ok I read somewhere that because dvi and adc are digital that a vga adapter wont work so i ordered an hdmi to dvi adapter and when it gets here I will plug into my xbox and then into the dviator, so lets hope this works and then I will post results

So I got the hdmi to dvi adapter and plugged into my xbox and then connected to dviator but still no image on screen .....I tried all the available resolutions from my other monitor in the xbox setting menu and none of them work....
