Could you please give me some reccomendation for a good motherboard? I'm looking for something with socket 939, SLI and preferrably nF4 ultra.
The one I've been looking mst at is DFI LanParty UT nF4 SLI-DR but I'm a bit worried about it's RAM frying tendencies ;) Besides, I haven't been following the motherboard scene for over a year so I feel quite behind...

You know you have to screw with the jumpers for it to do that right. And where do you live? The Abit costs a ton more in the US.

And you complained that Asus is just getting up to 300fsb...abit can't hit 300 =P. More like 265. Kinda like my deluxe =P. But then he didn't ask for an OC'n board...oh well.

I live in Finland. The Abit AN8 SLI is 127€ and the DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR is 198€

The Epox is 105-110€

Edit: Er, nope. I saw wrong. It's 149€ (thus the most expensive... Why am I getting the imopression that these prices should be the other way around? ;p )

Edit2: Er, I saw wrong again. It's the cheapest one after all. I really need to stop staring at a screen for 12 hours a day (also known as take a break from work)

Thanks for the advice.
May I just ask why you reccomend the EPox? Is it because it's cheaper or because of it's performance/quality?

Reason I'm asking is becasue I very seldom upgrade the motherboard so I'm prepared to spend an extra 50€ if it's for a better card :p

I think that I should suggest to you these 2 boards
Asus A8N SLI DLX or (premium as the DLX ones chipset fan is very I had to change it within one month but the premiums heat pipe scores over anything else )altough its true that asus doesnt have asynchrous timing for ram and fsb but the memory ratio changer in the premium version makes up for it.
A8N-SLI Premium

Or go in for Epox EP-9NPA+SLi It has asynchrous timing for ram and fsb and every feautre except 4 sata ports of asus it has 2 of silicon image.

Hope to clear ur confusion not add to it.

i always had my eyes on a dfi ultra ut-d... but i'm really considering epox now, not for the price, the price is really not the issue here in mobos.. but.... i been on dfi street lately (2 days =P) and theres a whole bunch of trouble with it, and setting it up is a pain in teh butt. but on the other hand, the epox OCs just as well, but less hassle?
