Help thesims com/chat

Hello,
In an attempt to re-install Sims3, I removed the game from my machine. Now, I cannot find the booklet with the serial number! I can't re-install the program! I've trie dgoing into regedit to locate the number, but since I've already removed the program from my machine, I'm stuck. How can I get the registration code? Any help you can give me would be MOST appreciated.
