Battle for middle earth

i want to ask something...i want to play middle earth from internet not from lan with a friend of mine....coiuld anyone help me to do that???

Clarification: have you tried choosing "internet" instead of "LAN" in the multiplayer menu? If so, did it work?

If that didn't work, do you have a legit version (not pirated)?
