I have a bit of a problem. My family has decided that since I spend so much time at my computer that it deserved a name to serve in place of a girlfriend. The problem is I don't like the name they gave, which I will refrain from mentioning so that no one will be insulted. So I have decided that to counter them I need a name for my computer and I have no idea. Give me ideas and I'll let you know when I do chose a name.

Actually it might not be a bad idea for everyone to name their computer; many stranger things that computers get names.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be. :eek:

each of my computers has had the same name (in my computer where you actually can name them) but with a number denoting where in the order did I build this one.. I have built 4 so far so this one I'm on is Interrossitor -4 a bubble-gum cigar to whoever can I.D. the origin of the name btw

Thanks for the ideas so far, but my family is looking for a feminine name and I don't think that Brunhilda quite fits a machine.

How does Caprice sound as a name? The meaning is even better: fanciful, unpredictable.

That is somehow appropriate for a computer.

The other idea is Raissa; which means thinker.

Let me know which is better or if anyone out there has any better ideas.
