Can i create new partition from C Drive?

I have two Pc Win7 and xp installed on that respectively.
My Problem is- the Person from i bought this machines he installed os on only in one partition i.e C.

So my question is- Can i make more partition from that?

Is there is any other way to extent C partition to make one new partition without data Lose?

Please Reply asap..

I'm confused by the question...do you have two PCs, or two separate OS installs on one PC?

If you have Win7, you should be able to extend the partition/shrink the partitions. If you have XP, it's a bit harder and will require a program like Partition Magic to do the trick.

I have 2 pc and 2 os (xp and win 7), 1-1 os each installed on them
Current condition is- he installed os on 250 HDD without creating any other partition.

I need safest tool to do this job i.e make more drive.

You need to tell which OS you want to create a new partition on, the solution is different for XP and W7 as huron said.

Just for advice, EASEUS works much better that partition magic I used with 2 RAID 5 in different servers without data lose and problems
