Hi there !!
I wanna do a backup from my win2k webserver because it has to be purged and reinstalled .. The only problem until now is that I don's know how to backup the users (ftp users, local users and so on) from my server .. If somebody knows how to do it please tell me ..

Are you are using the IIS FTP server? I don't believe there is any way to backup computer user accounts short of taking a full system backup or image. That would sort of defeat the purpose of a reinstall though.
If you are using a 3rd party app for ftp there is probably something in it that will let you make a backup. Or just backup the program's install and put it back on after rebuilding the machine, that will usually work.

If you are using Active Directory accounts for IIS FTP authentication and that computer isn't the domain controller you shouldn't have to backup user accounts at all. When you rebuild the machine just promote it again and install IIS FTP. All the user accounts will propogate back to it.
