Cd recognition

Hello,
I followed all the steps recommended, but the last one. I did not have the option of lower or upper filter.

after the file number the step before last, I found a file with four "0000" and "properties".I could not open the properties.
Is there any other sugestions. joe

Open Control Panel, System, Device Manager, and look for a yellow triange by the CD/DVD Drives(if there is you got a driver problem)

The issue is still not resolved. I have a dell inspiron that had a vista program. I changed the program to windows 7. Somehow things did not go well.
