I've been partitioning with FDISK, using a floppy boot disk, and then booting/instal from the ME cd and everything OK.

My question is- instead of using the floppy boot disk to partition, can I do all partitioning by booting from the ME cd in the first place and running FDISK from there. FDISK is on the ME cd so I guess it should be possible.

Any special prceedures required.

This is a new PC with new components.

Thanks,

With 98SE, the Format command was located in the Win98 folder on the CD. I think it's located in the Win9x folder in ME.
