All the new Single-core A64 chips W/ 512Kb use the Venice core. It's a minor revision to the winchester with a couple of improvements.

The winchester was the 90nm process version of the Newcastle. Just as winchester took over from newcastle, so now venice takes over from winchester.

incidentally, 5 seconds with <A HREF="http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=AMD+venice&btnG=Google+Search&meta=" target="_new">google</A> would've probably negated the need to post.

No it won't. Your board is incompatible with the gondola prefetching the venice uses.
