My acer aspire dvd driver wont work now that i have upgraded to windows 7

Hello,
my acer aspire 9410 dvd driver wont work now that i have upgraded to windows 7. It says it is incompatible. I have looked on the acer site and it appears for the 9410 they don't have drivers for windows 7. I tried the vista drivers download but it won't work. Any ideas on how I can get the correct driver? The message I get says "contact vendor for a new driver code (code 48)

if you can connect to the web, open the Control Panel, then System, Device Manager, find the CD/DVD Drive and right click on it, select Update Driver Software, good luck

it doesnt work any advice ino its 6 months on but iv had this problem for a while and i need it fixin now thanks
