1.) Do you guys enable or disable Cool'n'Quiet? Does this have any negative effects?

2.) Would you use the default Windows Firewall, or the NV Firewall bundled?

3.) NV Active Armor - what are the benefits of this/do you use?

4.) Would you use nTune for basic overclocking? (ie 10%-ish) Or is that not recommended? Why or why not? What are the disadvantages?

1) Enable unless you don't like what it does (it slows your CPU down to 1ghz when not under load so it doesn't produce as much heat). On RARE occasions I've heard of compatibility issues, but they're darn rare, and I can't dredge up an example out of my brain... (lending support to the 'rare' comment)

2) Neither. ZoneAlarm or something else. Others say the NV Firewall is ok, I've never used it.

3) Never used it.

4) I'd use BIOS settings, but you can use nTune.

Anyone ever used that AInos boost that Asus has? How do you like it?

If my understanding is correct... do you save a "stock speed setting" and then create a bios setting profile for "oc setting" that you've tested/approved... and then the comp stays at stock until it detects you need extra performance, and then bumps it up on the fly? Is that right? Anyone ever used it, have feedback, can explain how it works, how to set it up best, how they like it, etc.?
