Will Gothic 2 work with windows 7?

The title says it all. I will be having my first gaming PC built for me in the next few months and I was wondering if Gothic 2 would be compatible with Windows 7. The system requirements state that you need Windows 98 / 2000 / Me / XP so I wasn't sure.

If gothic 2 runs on an XP machine then I don't think you'll have any issues. I would say 75% of the games I own are XP era games or even before and I've gotten all of them to run.
