Am considering getting broadband later this year and have a question to ask for confirmation... can I use my 3com 3c509B network card for the ADSL connection or will I have to fork out extra cash for a ADSL modem (could I use my hub to share the ADSL connection between computers one PC as a firewall/server & other computers their internet running off it) ???

There are no stupid questions... just lots of inquisitive idiots...

you've got 2 questions there:

1) You will definitely need an ADSL modem.

2) To share your connection with just a hub, you need to run ICS.
