I have a 1991 AT mini-tower that originally had a 386 board in it. Over the years I've upgraded to a 486 and 3 years ago to a Socket 7 board with a Cyrix 233 MMX. I'd like to upgrade to a board that will still fit the case. What is the best option for a board and chip for this case at this time? I use the computer for children's games, basic computing, and some digital work and I want to keep the costs down as much as possible. I have a 64 MB DIMM memory chip. I'm happy with the video card and sound card that I have now. Thanks.

There aren't many AT factor mainboards out there but I
think there must be stil some AT BX-chipset mainboards around. So you can pair it up with some cheap celeron processor, or even an AMD K6II
Ask your local vendor if he still has some AT factor mainboards in stock...
