My disappointment with v810 is great, mainly by not having alarm. so
to transmit photos and rings by cable, no way! I searched a lot by the
last 6 months and I did not reached even close to unlocking the
device... and the cost of sending the photo by mail, as you already
must know, is of about one cent each byte, about a dollar by picture
transmittion... solution: sell v810 and buy one v878 model: it has
alarm-clock, chronometer, Java games instead of brew (downloadable for
free), movies besides photographing, has an external display of high
resolution enough to visualize photos and to photograph with the flip
closed, and transmits photos and Ring by the cable, that already comes
with the device (I also find that it has service-provider independent
clock, so that you does not run the risk to go off an alert event when
the cellular will be off area, heard also that the alarm-clock even
goes on with cellular turned off). ps: my battery does not last much,
therefore I bought on more battery, I have a battery charger and a car
charger too... the cable I built by myself, I wasn't able to pay a lot
for a clable that only synchronizes phonebook and scheduler.
