Asus A7V and usb ports

I have an Asus A7V motherboard with 128megs of pc133 ram, 20 gig hd, asus v6800 deluxe ddr video card, athlon 850 and a creative labs soundblaster x-gamer sound card. I thought I installed everything correctly, and I have no device driver conflicts, but only one usb port out of the five works! it is the middle one that is on the extra usb card. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

I don't know why this is but I have the same problem.
There are two white USB connectors on the bottom of the motherboard. I tried switching which one I was connected to. This allowed another USB port to work.
Now I have 4 out of 7 working ports, two on the board and two on the little card. The two that work are the two that are together. The one that is apart from the other two never works. Maybe you have to connect another cable to that end of the little card and on to a separate set of pins on the motherboard. There are 5 extra USB ports with is motherboard and there are 5 sets of USB pins on the bottom of the board.
