Resident evil 5, and GFWL fails again.

So I just bought Resi 5 for PC, and can't seem to get GFWL working.

At no point during the install, or the initial startup, did it ask for a serial key. but every time i try to play the game, it fails to connect to my Live account, saying my serial key is invalid. Not only did i not get a chance to put my CD key in, but there seems to be no place to do so. I've checked all the menus and there's nothing.

Anyone else have this problem? I can't find anything on google.

I honestly think GFWL games should by law have to be identified clearly, so we know not to buy them. they always seems to fail miserably.

anyway, solutions appreciated fellas.

go to the gfwl blade and sign in once you sign in it should ask you to input cd-key.
i just reinstalled mine today actually so i know it in my head real good still
lol

I did this, and when i try to sign in it says 'failed to sign in because your seruial key is not valid'

even though i haven't put one in? :/

i think i'm just gonna give up. I hate GFWL.

did you get the game through steam or through another retailer?

might sound stupid, but have you tried reinstalling the game? you might have missed somthing...

Got the game from a store, on disk.

Haven't tried reinstalling because installation took nearly an hour, and the game doesn't seem worth wasting the time on again. If i uninstall it, im not gonna bother re-installing. I give up, im just gonna refuse to buy GFWL games in future. It amazes me ho bad that system is.

i totally agree. spend almost 3 days just trying to make an account when i installed gta 4. i avoid GFWL like its the plague
