Not sure I want to comment on this at the moment. It was something that rubbed me the wrong way while traveling in the EU though. The Danes idea of closed borders is really a reflection on the problems the Western Europeans are having coping with immigration. IMOP they're handling it all the wrong way. The attitude of the people towards immigrants and foreigners is deteriorating rapidly again as it has done in the past. The governments are taking advantage of this moment to literally close their borders.

IMO closing boarders is stupid and by law even illegal.

But the problem in Europe is that we get more inmmigrants then we can handle, so only the people that are really in danger in their own country may stay... but this statement is much to vague. This creates problems with immigrants who where told to leave but stay illegal.

It also surprimes me how bad the attitude of the people in Holland is against foreigners...they seem to act like crazy and all listen to the opinions of some people without thinking about them and giving their own PERSONAL feelings a chance.

Because of this more right and even extreem-right thoughts get into the government and they make up the most stupid things to prevent immigrants from comming into the country.

My peltier is so powerful I get Bose-Einstein Condensate beneath it  .

Hmm, right? Extreme right? The right wing U.S. government of the past encouraged immigration. And the left wing of the U.S. government right now is just as scared of social problems as everyone else. Of course, that's in the U.S., countries vary, but blocking imagration is not always in the best interest of conservatives.

Interest polls show me to be a moderate, but I find myself defending conservatives a lot more than liberals these days, mostly because of the intolerance of liberals in the U.S. If you believe intolerance is a conservative viewpoint as opposed to a bi-lateral issue, your judgement has become clouded. So goes it for the american liberal.

You've probably read a few of my rants against widely held beliefs of both sides.
