If I am to upgrade my system, would I need a new Power supply.
Currently I am running a ATX PSU (235W) connected to an LX board, I wanna get myself an AMD socket A (probably the Asus A7V) board & processor.
I can get a 300W certified for AMD PSU, but do I need to ? is the power conections any different to what I have, all I can think of is AMDs need more power to run.

Were cookin' now... whoops...

If you upgrade to a Duron, minimum 250w PS. To a TB, 300w PS minimum. Make sure it is approved by AMD, and make sure the case you put it all into will allow you to cool it in specs with AMD's cooling spec requirements posted on their site. You can download them and peruse. Use a heatsink/fan combo approved by AMD.
