Abit Problems

It seems that the rumors about BP6 are true as I have pain36lly found out
today. After about 3/4 of a year of flawless service BP6 mobo has suddenly
died :(. After spending quite a few hours trying different RAM chips, video
cards, and processors in all possible combinations the mobo was still dead.
I contacted Abit support line which had happily informed me that I should
contact my vendor. My vendor then happily informed me that after contacting
Abit themselves they were told that since BP6 are no longer manufactured it
will take nearly 2 month to have it replaced. The reason behind the wait is
the fact that Abit cannot seem to "find" BP6 in their stock rooms.
While I did not believe the rumors of Abit support being one of the worst
supports around I didn't believe it at first, but it seems first hand
experience changed everything :( .
An advice to all people considering Abit motherboards for their systems, be
extremely careful because if something ever goes wrong with the mobo you are
gonna end up in a long wait while your system is down.
It seems like I might need to buy myself a new motherboard since waiting 2
month is not really an option, THANK YOU ABIT.

You must have done something to kill your motherboard. Mobo's just don't kill themselves. I have owned over 10 ABIT motherboards and i have never had a problem with them. $100 isn't that much to spend for a new motherboard anyhow.
