My roommate and I are in 2 different rooms of the house but would like to be able to voice chat during games such as Call of Duty. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum section, but what program would you suggest that is easy to use to talk to him on LAN?

considered skype, but that would only work well if I have headphones on since it seems to pick up a lot of the extra noise coming from my speakers. Ventrillo seemed like a good idea, but I got confused when I failed at setting up the server, lol. Is it possible to have a vent server with 2 people on the same IP connecting to it?

Ventrilo, teamspeak, shouting are the main ones I can think of.
