Asus A7V IRQ 12

anyone been able to use IRQ 12? I dont have a PS/2 mouse (USB) and the bios is set to auto for the ps/2 port. if I try to manually set slot whatever to 12 it freezes the comp at bios pnp check. any ideas? also, is there ANY way to not share an interrupt with 4 devices if you use slot 4/5 and USB?? IRQ 3 is being used but like 4 things!!

I assume that you have a PS/2 keyboard so you shouldn't use (although you could) that IRQ, but if you don't have a PS/2 keyboard then set the PS/2 port to disabled.

IRQ sharing is unfortunately unevitable on PCI systems with more than 4 slots since there is only 4 IRQs that can be assigned to PCI slots (unless you have a multiple PCI bus mobo that I dout). If you can move the card from slot 5 to another one.
