I am in search for a desktop PC. I wonder if this PC is good for running FSX at medium to very high settings with no lag.

Specs:

Operating system Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edit
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-550 dual-core processor [3.2GHz, 512KB L2 + 4MB shared L3 cache, DMI 2.5GT/s] edit
Memory 4GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [2 DIMMs] edit
Hard drive 500GB 7200 rpm SATA 3Gb/s hard drive edit
Office software No additional office software edit
Security software No additional security software edit
Graphics card 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5570 [DVI,HDMI, DP, VGA adapter] edit

Will FSX perform good with no lag at medium high to very high settings with an ATI HD5570 and an Intel Core i3 dual core @ 3.2 GHz? :??:

I was considering AMD. I only had experience with Intel processors. I feel skeptical about buying a pc that has an AMD processor, because I heard that some people said that AMD is a knockoff.

Well, I got a E8400 and had a 9800 GTX and FSX ran alright. I upgraded my vid to a 5850. But haven't ran FSX since the upgrade. I am sure you will be good man.
