Hello,

I am having trouble with two older PC games and trying to get them to work on my laptop with Win XP.

The first is G-Nome Everything is fine except the videos in teh game do not play. Any suggestions?

Second is Helicops. Everything load and rund fine but after you die the game freeezes?

Try changing the Compatibility mode settings for the game. Right-click on the game's executable, select Properties, and the look for the Compatibility settings. Try running it as an older version of Windows.

How old are these games exactly? You may have to try installing an older operating system in a virtual PC.

The games are mid 1990's.
I do not know how to do what you described as a virtual PC? Can you explain more?

before we get to virtual PC's, are these games able to work in DOS?

I am not sure?? They both say Win 95 cd's

Do you recommend I try them in a program such as DosBox?

If they are Win 95 only, they won't work in DOSBox, but give it a try and get back to me.
