EADM Code works in Steam?

Well, ii just bought BattleField: Bad Company 2
and they just game me a EADM (EA Download Manager) code, i just wondered, can i use the code i steam, or do i have to use EADM for it?
If i can't use it for steam, i want to get a refund lol

Yes EADM should work in steam to. Haven't never tried my self thou but i have heard from couple of my friends that it should work. Correct me if I am wrong.
