Scanning 8mm movies

Does anyone know of a device that makes it possible to scan 8mm and Super-8 movies? What I would like to do is convert old family movies to AVI (or another) format but I don't know how to do this...

What you really need is a video capture card in your pc with an out that you can plug your Super 8 player into, and a humungous hdd to take all that data, get one with good software that lets you convert to AVI, maybe Pinnacle do one, check thier webpage
