Thinking about this laptop with RX300, or the IBM T42 with R9600. Which one wold be a better game playing thing. I need a good screen, thats why Fujitsu is a better option, caz working whole day long sometimes looking at the thing, So if RX300 is a close contender to 9600 I'll go with it. Please help to make up my mind, need a machine soon, caz A30 is crapping out (shuts down for no reason).

Thinkpads are made for office work not necissarily gaming, though my T42 does play games nice :)
I believe the x300 is a tad lower end than the 9600. If you want to beat the 9600 you will need at least an x600.
I just had the pleasure of working on a couple Dell Latitude D810 notebooks w/ x600 128mb graphics cards. Those things are NICE!

Never had a Dell, I am kind of old IBM fella, it is just that I'd like to get a little better screen these days, eyes are not that sharp any more. I've looked at some glass covered screens, and they are wow bright. Will have to go to Dell place to look at those, heh.

Dont get me wrong, IBM makes the best notebooks around they just arnt made to be gaming machines. Maybe the T43 will offer an x600 soon, they only have x300s at the moment. A T43 w/ an x600 would be awsome. And probably cost over $3000 lol.
