Hi all,

Since installing XP service pack 2, every 20-30 minutes I get a
balloon message in my systray that says "Connected to Wireless
Connection 2" (or something very similar). I have the network
authentication box unchecked. Before installing service pack 2, I
never had this problem. Since updated I continuously get this
message.

Anyway to disable this from happening? I don't want to remove the
wireless connectivity icon from the systray, just the continuos
messages about successfully being connected.

Thanks

You should only get that message when your computer (re)connects to the
access point... Is there any chance that you lose your connection
frequently, and that your computer reconnects?
