Hi, good day to all. Alright, so I've played Assassin's Creed II for almost a week now, though, I've finished it. Today I tried to fix my RAM, 'cause it only shows in my system that 2GB only, while I put in 4GB(2GB x 2) in the slots. I disabled memory remapping in the BIOS setup, but I tried to play AC2, and that's when it freezes( showing only desktop and "working in background" cursor) So I enabled memory remapping again. After, I tried my other games:AC1,CoDMW2 and Sims 3, and it works fine, no freeze/crashes/lags whatsoever. I played AC2 again, but it freezes again in that same way. I tried reinstalling it, but no luck. What could be the problem guys? Any help would really be appreciated..
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Processor:Intel Core i3-530 2.93 GHz
Video Card:NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
RAM: I have 4GB put in, BUT, it only says 2GB
I assume you only see 2GB in Windows system properties?
Reboot and check in BIOS whether al the memory is visible. If not, you either have a faulty module, or one of them hasn't been seated properly. Try moving the RAM to other slots (if available) to see if this helps.
