Has anyone played Quake 4 or Doom 3 on notebooks that has a Intel HD type of video chip? I know that it can share upto 1.6GB or ram from system. The Intel HD I' am talking about is the latest one not the 4500MHD. I just recently got a new Sony VPC-EB3QFX/WI and I was wondering if it will somehow play those games. It has a Intel i3 2.4 gHz processor with 4GB of DDR3 ram and can go upto 8GB. I have Windows 7 Home 64 bit.

I can play Doom 3 using high settings and it doesn't lag at all. So this Intel HD must be pretty good. I haven't tested to ultra settings yet though. But if the ATI Radeon 4250 is better then forsure it can run Doom 3 in Ultra settings with no lag. But maybe the Intel HD can play in Ultra but I just keep it in high so it will run smooth as possible and look good also.
