ASUS P2B Will Take Up To What?

Hi, I have an ASUS P2B and I was wondering if anyone could inform me up to what processor can this MB handle? I currently have a PII 300MHz in there, but I have the most recent bios and wish to get a new processor for Christmas. Could this MB say support a Slot1 650, 700, 800MHz, etc processor? Thank You

I posted a link to the Asus site in one of my early replies to this topic. Go the end of this newsgroup (the oldest posts) and look for one called Asus P2B and CU (I think?).

check your board hardware revision number. Should be printed near the ISA slots. Won't run coppermine cores unless it is 1.12 with bios 1011 or higher. My bro's was 1.02 and we had no luck. If it won't do coppermine, the best you can do is the Katmai P3 600 - if you can find one.
