Tristan Pinball

This was a great pinball game dating from Windows 3.1 days but it worked all the way up to XP.
Wondering if anyone has found a way to get it to work in Windows 7?

  1. Have you tried installing it and it doesn't work? Or you installed it but can not run it? Either way you can try doing one or the other via Windows 7 compatibility mode. The OS gives you the option to run a program and will emulate the OS environment that you choose. I think you can go back to Windows 95. If I had a copy of the software I'd give it a try. Give it a shot and let us know.
  2. give dosbox a shot
  3. No luck - says "This is a Windows program".
  4. As for Compatibility mode, when I try the install using XP SP3 I get: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, then contact the software publisher.". Well, since the publisher's been out of business for decades, that's not an option!
