Wondering if it's okay to make a map and distribute

Hey, I'm making an rp map for my friend's server on Gmod... Is it okay to distribute the map? I was thinking about the "copyrighted" textures.

Yes it's okay as long as you specifically indicate a copyright disclosure pertaining to whomever owns those textures.
