I am hoping to buy an MSI 694D-Pro AR motherboard and the first of two CPU's next week.

The quetion I have is this: I have two 64mb DIMMS, which I THINK are PC100. They are two years old at any rate.

Can I still use them or will I have to buy new memory sticks?

Thanks all!

I don't know that motherboard, but since you say that you're buying the first of two CPUs, I assume it's a Pentium III board. Assuming the memory is pc100, make sure you get a CPU with a 100 MHz. FSB, e.g., the E versions, not EB.

As long as that motherboard supports 100FSB and you run at 100FSB, it should be fine.

Also note that some motherboards will let you run RAM and processor at different FSB speeds.

Thanks guys.

I'll check with the manufacturer then, and see if I can run the components at different speeds.
