Is AGP Required on AGP-capable MB?

HI,

Is an AGP video board required for an AGP-capable motherboard? I can upgrade my motherboard/processor, but not the video board. Can I use my ATI Mystique (PCI) video board?

AFAIK, you should have no problem. Stick a card into a PCI slot and leave AGP empty, and you should be fine

Agree with Kodiak, it should work. If it doesn't make sure your BIOS has PCI selected for video not AGP, although I would think it would take care of this for you. (not sure what default is..when I built my system was set to AGP already)
