PC crash after Xbox 360 controller is connected

Let me first say hello to all the fine people of this website happy to join ..Whenever I plug my 360 controller into my pc its followed by blue screen of death,I tried different usb ports on my pc, reinstalled the drivers and its still happening. The funny thing is I was using the controller a few weeks ago with no problems and know I have this problem. Anyone have any know whats wrong ?

Possible updates on your Windows and other software would have triggered the incompatibility between your xbox 360. Try reinstalling the driver of your xbox 360

I removed the drivers and installed them a few times no luck.
