Ok, when I play 3d games, lately the games have been freezing up on me a lot. I think I am going to do everything possible before I give up and call a real tech.
here is my system:
KT7 Raid
1.1 ghz Athlon
Windows 98, without upgrade or SE(I am going to upgrade this after I finish typing this out)
DirectX 7.0
Hercules GE Force 2 MX 32 mb

I think that is all the vital information..
Anyhow, if all else fails, how do I go about flashing the bios. Let it be known that I have never done this before so I need precise steps. As always, all help is greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I fixed my processors heatr sink and it rarely goes above 100-105 degrees now. So I dont think this would be a problem, but if you think it might, tell me :)

What other PCI cards do you have?
If you have a card in PCI slot #1 take it out or move it.
See if the crashes still happen. Make sure no devices are sharing IRqs in both the device manager and the bios.
If none of this helps, try taking out all your cards except for the video card. If it doesn't crash, try installing them one at a time, checking for crashing after you install each one.
