Price: $469.99

I think the price is not bad, and I am waiting for the DDR-SDRAM now. Corsair's 128MB PC2100 DDR-SDRAM costs $210.00, is it worth it? What do you guys think?

http://www.ibuyer.net is a nice place to find good prices for computer components.

Didn't they promise that the cost of DDR memory was going to be about the same as the cost of SDR memory?
A stick of Crucial 256MB CL2 SDR SDRAM currently costs $171!
Looks more like RDRAM to me!

you're one lucky basterd, what can I say, every ones dream machine, well nearly.

given the choice to choose a P4 or 1.2G Athlon,....... I really don't know

Probably take the P4 and sell it to make some money first, haha and then get my self dual 1.2G athlon (in my dreams) and there should still be money left for another 256MB DDR PC2100 (in my dreams)

well, I guess that would put P4 to shame $ vs $

Best regards

Their is always a little start up rise in memory cost. It probably has an elevated price since their isn't an abundance of it around. It will filter down directly when it becomes more available. Botom line, supply drives down prices, Demand drives up prices. Soon the supply will meet the demand and all will be cool.
