DDR Mainboard and PC133 ram

Anyone knows if PC133 cas2 Ram and an Athlon 1GIGA will still work on the oncoming DDR mobo's?

No, SDRAM will not work on the new DDR motherboards. The DDR interface is different than the SDRAM. (168pin vs. 184).

Any Socket A CPU will, though.

There are some mobos (with DDR solution) that have both DDR and SDR slots on them. So hopefully we will get them at the beginning of the next year (this is pretty good, cuz you can still use your old memories)

Yes, some have both interfaces, but what is the point of getting a new mobo that just supports new memory and use old memory?

Well Grizely the point for me is that i recently bought 512 MB of Muskin cas2 ram and that I wanted to use them a bit longer because they're so expensif.
