Hey guys, i just want to share my opinion here .....

Did you think dx10 and dx11 in pc gaming is a big upgrade from dx 9 ????????
i dont see a huge different here . . .
Like i said, for example resident evil 5 not had a different between dx9 and dx 10 !!!!
And others games i feel the same !!!!!
So why microsoft present dx10 and dx11 to us ????
IN the past ,,,
i see a huge different from dx8 to dx9, and dx9 to dx9.0c !!!!!!
And now, between dx9.0c and dx10 dont have a different, then dx10 to dx10.1 !!!!!!
So what you think ????

I think the !! and ?? keys on your keyboard are stuck...

But seriously, which operating system are you currently using? And which graphics card? DX10 and 11 will only run on the proper combination of hardware and software.

DX10 was a big yawn / disappointment. DX11 has various significant improvements but the jury is still out whether or not it will have as big an impact as DX9 did.

I used windows 7 ultimate 32bit, with hd4850.
I played almost all games with dx10 support, but not seen any big difference except for crysis.

And yes, my keyboard had a little ache

Game developers specifically need to code their software to take advantage of the new features offered by DX10/11. DX10 never really took off in a big way, and DX11 support is also pretty limited at the moment. Like with all technology, DX initially developed quickly, introducing massive changes with each new version, but it has since tapered off to a more stable plateau.
