Reccomended games

I'm new to gaming on PC and need to know of some good games to get with my new toy. My rig should be able to handle anything you can throw at it. I'm open to all game types as long as they are not ridiculously slow.

I'm only gonna be gaming at 720p

System specs:

2.8Ghz AMD X3 720BE (plan on overclocking)

XFX ATI 5770

4GB DDR3 RAM

Windows 7 64bit

I don't think much else matters right?

I told ya I like all kinds of games. I guess I'd say RPG and FPS are my most played tho.

FPS
Half Life series! It starts with Half Life 1, which was a pre-2000 game so don't expect much in terms of graphics. But it's a legendary FPS! The sequels will blow your mind away....excellent story, gameplay as well as graphics! Half Life 2; Half Life 2 Episode 1; Half Life 2 Episode 2. You 'must' give these a shot!
