Hi!

I tried to find the battery on the main board, but couldn't find one.

According to the i"Upgrade and Maintenance Guide HP Vectra VL series 7",
which I downloaded with some difficulties ( I had
to remove the part of the URL after "pdf" ) from the hp-web-site, says:

"You can also install an external battery in the PC, which you can order
from your authorized reseller."

But actually it doesn't say what else I could do....

The external battery is:

3.6V battery pack - 950mAh, lithium, with cable and connector
and it costs $69.00

So I would like to know where is the internal battery and which pin, for the
external one, is (+) ?

There are 3 pins like II I

Best thing is probably using a time server when setting the time gets too
boring ;-) ( I'm running OpenBSD on it)

Thanks for any help!

Michael
