When i play CoD 5, W.a.W. it either stops responding when im playing like normal, or goes to a 'driver_irql_not_less_or_equal' BSOD in safe mode. Should i reinstall drivers or what? It was working last night perfectly for like 6 straight hours, now it can't last half. I have a GTX460, Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H, Phenom 2 955be, 4Gb corsair ram

Are you overclocking anything? How are your system temperatures looking?

not yet, and the cpu goes to max 56c and min 35c
gpu goes max 60c min 30c
It's weird since sometimes it works and i can play for hours, but sometimes it just doesn't work -.-

Does this happen with any other games/apps, or just CoD?

Crysis, and Mafia 2
they are the only games i have so i assume its with every game. Even Combat arms (a free online fps) close randomly without any error.. the engine.exe just ends for no reason.

Try swapping out your RAM sticks if you can find some extras. That BSOD is often associated with faulty RAM, overheating, or bad drivers. You might want to make sure all your device drivers are up to date.

Im almost certain all the drivers are up to date so it is probably overheating :/  arn't the copper heat pipes on the heat-sink ment to get hot? i can put my finger on them for ages without it hurting.. my gpu on the other hand has silver pipes and they get very hot.

Max 60C on the GPU is well within spec. Heck, it's not even working hard if it doesn't break 70C at some point.

i think it might be cpu or bad driver install -.-
might have to reformat it and start again, to see if its hardware or drivers
