Battlefield Bad Company 2 similar pc specs

I have a AMD 9950 X4 @2.6, 4gigs DDR2 memory and a 7800 GT video.
I am curious if anyone has a similar video card and how it performs with BFBC2. I am thinking about buying it.
Unfortunately, I can't find a demo of the game to test drive it.

unfortunately, I cannot afford a video card upgrade.

You dont mention the resolution that you are playing at, but with only a 7800GT I expect that you will be GPU limited, especially since you have a pretty good CPU.
I have an E4500 and a 9800GT and can play the single player game at 1440x900 at medium to high settings. So I imagine you would be able to run the game but you might be limited to lower resolutions like I am using, and low to medium settings.
I havent tried multiplayer, but it might be more demanding that the single player even.
