AMD Duron Trouble

I just installed AMD Duron Model m805lr into a WinME system and i have a greenish display. I installed lastest drivers and cmos jumper settings are set to normal with everything else default. Does anyone know of this issue and how to fix it?

check your monitor, i dont think there is problem with the display card, and absolutely not with your cpu.
check if the card drivers have some kind of correction utility (in control panel->display->settings->advanced properties) like gamma correction or hue or tint adjustment.

try your monitor on some other system and some other monitor on yours.

I swapped out graphics cards and still green display. I swapped out motherboards (put in an intel board) and green went away completely.
So i know it's the motherboard, the maker of this one is pc chips.
Time to brainstorm again.

What kind of motherboard were you using when it gave you a green display?

It's a PCChips m805lr motherboard for AMD 700 Duron
